Mineral-reinforced three-layer silent wastewater pipes and fittings that stop plumbing noise at its source in multi-storey buildings. Acoustic PP is a separate system based on polypropylene (PP-BC), not PVC, and is joined with a socket and O-ring seal.

Mineral-reinforced silent wastewater pipes and fittings
The Plastherm Acoustic PP silent wastewater system has been developed to stop plumbing noise at its source in multi-storey buildings. The quietness of the system does not come from an additional insulation material but from the pipe's own three-layer mineral-reinforced structure.
The Plastherm Acoustic system has been independently tested in accordance with DIN EN 14366-1:2023-09 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP) acoustics laboratory in Stuttgart, Germany. The test was carried out on a real stack line consisting of Ø110 × 3.4 mm Plastherm Acoustic pipe, a Plastherm Acoustic branch and Plastherm pipe clamps.
